Sleeping up to six guests, Alpen House Hakuba is a cosy alpine retreat perfect for families and groups of friends. For larger groups, an additional futon can also be rented, bringing the maximum number of guests to seven. The renovated interior brings modern design while maintaining traditional Japanese touches, and the open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area create a warm space for gathering. Large windows fill the living room with natural light and frame the mountain forest beyond, and high-speed WiFi supports longer or remote work stays.
For summer, a large air-conditioning unit keeps the living and dining area cool, with fans provided in the bedrooms. In winter, a covered entranceway and bench offer a practical place to remove boots and gear before heading inside.
Echoland’s shops, cafés, and restaurants are only a 6-minute walk away, with free ski shuttle access nearby and Happo-One and Goryu both an easy drive. Alpen House is an ideal choice for families or friends seeking a quiet mountain getaway without giving up the convenience of Echoland.

About the rate
- minimum number of nights: 3 nights (December-March), 2 nights (April-November)
- Rate for up to 6 ppl. per unit (children and infants included)
Extra futons can be arranged to sleep up to 7 ppl. per unit
(¥5,500 Yen for 1 extra futon per night including linen/towel set – can be booked as an add-on with the property)
- 10% Sales tax is included in the rate.
- 5% Booking fee will be applied to the total accommodation cost.
- All rates from June 1st 2026 includes the accommodation tax collected by Hakuba Village.
- Payment method:
Payments can be made by credit card in your local currency (The currency will be automatically selected by your home address) by a payment system provided by Flywire. If you need to select another method, please inquire. - Damage security pre-authorization:
At check-in, you will be required to sign a credit card pre-authorization form to cover the cost of any damage to the property during your stay.
Payment schedule
- From December to March, 50% of the total amount is due at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date.
From April to November, please register your credit card details at the time of booking, and 10 days prior to the arrival date, the total amount will be charged to the registered card (If your arrival date is within 10 days, we will charge you within a few days of your booking.)
Cancellation Policy
- From December to March, 100% of paid prepayments refundable when cancelled 30 days prior to arrival date or earlier (Please note that the booking fee is non-refundable), 0% refundable if cancelled after.
From April to November, for cancellation after 10 days prior to arrival date, there will be 100% cancellation fee.
