Ideal for families with children or groups of friends, Yama House Hakuba offers a central location with the comfort and space of a private home. The villa sleeps up to ten guests across five bedrooms, blending charming Japanese-style rooms with a cosy, modern living area. For larger groups, two additional futons are available for rent bringing the total maximum number of guests up to 12. A fully equipped kitchen makes self-catering easy, while the spacious open layout gives everyone room to spread out. There is even a guitar in the lounge, ready for a casual jam session or a sing-along after dinner.
Heating throughout keeps the house warm even on the coldest winter nights, while air conditioning cools the living room and two of the upstairs bedrooms during the green season, with fans provided in the remaining bedrooms. The family-friendly layout works equally well for ski holidays, snowboarding trips, and green season adventures.
With cafés, bars, and restaurants just two minutes away, ski shuttle stops close by, and easy access to Happo-One, Yama House is one of the most convenient bases in Hakuba. It’s perfect for guests who want to be in the middle of everything while still enjoying the comfort and space of a private home.

About the rate
- minimum number of nights: 3 nights (December-March), 2 nights (April-November)
- Rate for up to 10 ppl. (children and infants included)
Extra futons can be arranged to sleep up to 12 ppl.
(¥5,500 Yen for 1 extra futon per night including linen/towel set – can be booked as an add-on with the property)
- 10% Sales tax is included in the rate.
- 5% Booking fee will be applied to the total accommodation cost.
- All rates from June 1st 2026 includes the accommodation tax collected by Hakuba Village.
- Payment method:
Payments can be made by credit card in your local currency (The currency will be automatically selected by your home address) by a payment system provided by Flywire. If you need to select another method, please inquire. - Damage security pre-authorization:
At check-in, you will be required to sign a credit card pre-authorization form to cover the cost of any damage to the property during your stay.
Payment schedule
- From December to March, 50% of the total amount is due at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date.
From April to November, please register your credit card details at the time of booking, and 10 days prior to the arrival date, the total amount will be charged to the registered card (If your arrival date is within 10 days, we will charge you within a few days of your booking.)
Cancellation Policy
- From December to March, 100% of paid prepayments refundable when cancelled 30 days prior to arrival date or earlier (Please note that the booking fee is non-refundable), 0% refundable if cancelled after.
From April to November, for cancellation after 10 days prior to arrival date, there will be 100% cancellation fee.
